Welcome to TinyPlantCo: Why We Started a Raffle, Not a Store
TinyPlantCo's first Garden Kit is being given away free to ten families through a no-purchase-necessary raffle, rather than sold upfront. The kit is built for kids ages 2–6, with real seeds, a kid-safe pot, and a picture-based guide for pre-readers.
Most kids' products launch with a store page and a "buy now" button. We're doing the opposite on purpose.
Why a raffle first
Before TinyPlantCo becomes a store, we want ten real families actually growing something with the kit and telling us what worked and what didn't. A raffle gets the kit into real homes fast, with zero pressure to buy, and gives us honest feedback before a wider launch.
What's actually in the kit
Three easy-grow varieties — sunflower, basil, and snap pea — chosen because they show visible growth quickly, which matters when your gardener is four years old and checking daily. The pot is wide and tip-resistant, sized for small hands to carry without adult help. Instructions are entirely picture-based, so pre-readers can follow along without narration.
Who it's for
Parents of kids roughly ages 2 to 6 looking for a screen-free activity with a daily "check on it" habit built in — something between a toy and a chore, in the best way.
